Camping de Duinhoeve has 'worked together' for years with different organizations for website, reservation software, and ICT, and this lead to frustrations on a regular basis because the systems didn't work togethers smoothly. Now they have everything under a single roof with Recranet and the organization is prepared for the future!

Our campground is the largest campground on Schouwen-Duiveland (province of Zeeland) with about 1500 rental units. We have 'worked together' online for years with different organizations, which lead to frustrations on a regular basis because the systems didn't work smoothly together. We had several parties; one for the website, one for the reservation software, and one for the online marketing. We were not sufficiently innovative with our online business operation, that could be done so much more efficient we thought and that's how we ended up with Recranet.

Late 2017 we decided to start working with Recranet and the first thing they did was developing our new website. If there is a change in the reservation software, such as rates, then this is immediately processed on the site.

With the future in mind we decided in 2018 to also use the online reservation software of Recreanet, next to the website.
We chose for Recranet because it is an innovative and progressive young club, the product is future proof, and we have a single contact point for everything that happens online. That makes it convenient. Recranet has a proven track record and extensive experience in tourism and recreation.
Considerable saving in time and money
Campground De Duinhoeve used reservation software that was installed on their servers. This server was linked to a 'Booking Agent', so the visitor could make a reservation via the website. The website, the reservation software and the Booking Agent were all delivered by different parties; this not only caused miscommunication and frustration, it also was responsible for additional charges for consultancy and ICT management.

One of the reasons that we decided to look around on the market is that there was a lot of finger pointing whenever there was a problem (links between hardware and reservation software and/or website) and it always took a long time before it was resolved. For instance, it would not be possible to make a booking because an error had occurred in the link of the booking street on our website and the reservation software. Of course, that can happen, but if then neither party assumes responsibility and only points fingers, then that is very costly in time, frustration, and money. Time for renewal!
By switching to Recranet Booking they now have everything under a single roof, so website and online reservations now run smoothly and are seamlessly attuned to each other.
Links with hardware
De Duinhoeve has completely switched to the cloud. Via the cloud our reservation software communicates excellently with several hardware such as:
- Link with PIN devices.
- Link reservation software with VOIP telephony.
- Barcode card CAT, can be printed directly from Recranet Booking.
- Gate CAT with license plate recognition.

A huge advantage of Recranet is that they can facilitate excellently in the linkage of their reservation software with our CAT gates (license plate recognition), the link with our PIN devices and in a later phase the link with the energy systems of our accommodations.
