Fields for guest verification in Search & Book customizable Update Reservation software 13 April 2023

When using guest verification in the booking engine, it is now possible to fill in the accompanying text fields as you wish. Guest verification ensures that returning guests are immediately recognized in your Recranet account through a verification code. Guest data is retrieved and if desired you can also show reduced prices based on the verification. Guest verification can be set up in advance or afterwards:

By default, a guest verifies afterwards, in the last step of the booking process, where one can enter guest details. When a returning guest verifies here, guest data will be automatically retrieved and filled in.

Optionally, you can also have guests verify in advance. This feature is particularly used for displaying reduced rates for, for example, a member base, staff members, regular guests or other returning guest groups for which you want to work with a loyalty program.

All explanations and texts regarding guest verification were until recently generic. You can now decide which explanatory text you want to show to further personalize and clarify the verification process for your guests. The settings can be found under Settings > Guests > Guest verification.
