Head of International Sales Expansion

Our channel manager synchronizes booking channels, while Recranet Real Estate seamlessly combines rental and sales of recreational real estate.
We have built a strong foundation in the Netherlands and have an excellent product-market fit, and Recranet is ready for the next phase: European expansion. In European countries, our focus market still runs on outdated software and inefficient processes: that's where our opportunities lie. We already have customers (from inbound) in various European countries, and we are now actively focusing on growth.
As Head of International Sales Expansion, you are the driver of growth beyond the national borders: you position Recranet as the new European standard for tourism technology.
Your Role
You work closely with C-level / Sales on our international breakthrough. You:

Launch priority countries and translate our clear proposition & ICP into a country-specific go-to-market.

Build a boots-on-the-ground sales team per country with native speaking talents (starting with one strong Country Sales hire).

Develop a partner ecosystem: selection, contracting, and enablement of implementation and sales partners (playbooks, deal-reg, joint marketing).

Are a player-coach: open doors, participate in key deals, increase win rates, and shorten the sales cycle.

Ensure localization & collaboration:
With product (integration and localization): You ensure our product is country-ready: translations (UI & templates), currencies/formats, VAT/tourist tax rules, payment methods, invoice requirements, reports, and integrations (energy management, access control, OTAs, local PSPs).
Marketing (demand gen & cases): local proposition, website/landing pages, campaigns, events, PR, and collecting/creating local customer cases and references to build trust.
CS/Implementation (smooth go-lives): Playbooks per country, data/contract migration, team training, support.
Finance/Legal (conditions, VAT, contracts). Pricing models per country, payment terms, VAT and invoice requirements, processor and partner contracts, and compliant T&C’s.

Steer data-driven on pipeline coverage, conversions per phase, forecast accuracy, CAC-payback, and NRR. You build a predictable sales machine with fixed rhythms and tight forecasting.
Who You Are
You are ambitious, super driven, confident, and aim for results, and you radiate that. Additionally, you have:

8 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales/BD; experienced player-coach.

A deep network in tourism & recreation (campsites, holiday parks, rental concerns/chains, OTA/DMO/tour operator relationships).

Recruitment and coaching skills: you build teams and make people productive quickly.

Channel/partner experience: from selection to enablement, including joint marketing and deal registration.

Strong communication and entrepreneurial mentality; you stand firmly in your shoes.

Languages: fluent in English + preferably French/German/Spanish (at least one).

Willingness to travel: ~50–60% within Europe.

High ownership & performance drive: you aim for results, rhythm, and speed: even during peak moments and travel, you don't slack off and keep pushing through.
Pluses: experience with PMS/booking engines/channel managers, previous launches in (at least) two of our target countries, experience with regional chains or tenders.
