If you are working with meter readings and tracking consumption per reservation, you can create surcharges with unit costs so that the total cost of consumption can be calculated once the final reading per reservation is known. If you work with smart meters that are automatically linked to your reservation system (for example, ICY, SmartCamping or KC SmartHome meters), the meter readings will be automatically read into Recranet Booking. If you do not have an automatic link, you can also easily enter the meter readings manually, and the total consumption will be calculated automatically and processed on the energy bill. When entering meter readings manually, often something is only entered once the reservation expires. However, in the case of an automated connection, the meter readings are continuously read in real time. To prevent interim readings from being settled on the reservation during the stay, you can now determine the moment of settlement yourself by clicking the Take over consumption on surcharges button.
