By default, the reservation system takes into account contiguous booking, which means that the system will always assign the closest spot on the planning board, depending on the guest's selection criteria (chosen period, accommodation type, any preferences or characteristics). In extension to this functionality, it is now also possible to require guests to book consecutively. This means that you can define your own periods, in which the calendar in the search & book shows only the connecting periods. Guests can therefore only book these periods and may have to adjust their desired vacation period according to the availability in the calendar. This functionality is particularly interesting when the booking season is already more advanced and thus availability is reduced, last-minute bookers are often more flexible and adapt to what is available. So you can decide from when you activate the 'mandatory consecutive booking'. Booking behavior will be different for each organization, depending on location, climate, target group, etc. You can therefore fully adjust the functionality and restrictions to your own liking.
