When guests make a booking online through the website, they are bound by the restrictions you set for such things as arrival days, departure days, min/max number of nights, min/max number of people, etc. However, when you manually enter a reservation on the dashboard yourself, such as when you speak to a guest at the front desk or over the phone, you can override any restrictions you set. From now on, the system will notify you when you deviate from certain restrictions. So you retain the flexibility to make a reservation in any way you wish, but the system now makes you aware that you are overriding the restrictions you have set. This functionality is particularly useful and nice if you work with temporary/seasonal employees, who actively make reservations, but may not always be aware of the conditions you apply to your rentals. This way, consultation can take place before the reservation is finally placed.
