Make it mandatory for guests to choose a preferred location when they select specific features in the search & book Update Reservation software 30 April 2024

We previously wrote an update about being able to select features per location. This update makes it possible for guests to indicate which features are important to them when booking online, so that (optionally) the appropriate spots can be shown on the map. An extension of this functionality has now been put live: you can now optionally choose to require guests to choose a specific spot on the map, after specific features have been checked. For example, when guests check the features 'dog' and 'enclosed garden', they are required to choose a preferred location on the map. Without choosing a spot, they cannot proceed in the booking process. This is an optional setting, so you can decide for yourself whether you want to apply this method in the search and book or not. You can find this option via settings > account > general > 'other' tab.
