Extensions in facial recognition access control connection Update Reservation software 17 October 2024

Earlier this year we developed automatic access control through facial recognition, in collaboration with our partner Easysecure. Recently, we extended this connection so that, as an alternative to facial recognition, guests can also choose to generate a QR code that allows them to access their accommodation. When guests upload their photo, the option to generate a QR code disappears. When guests choose the QR code, it is no longer possible to upload a photo for facial recognition.

Also, it is now possible for guests to delete the photo they previously uploaded at any time. When a user is deleted from the Easysecure app, the photo uploaded by the guest will automatically be deleted as well.
