When creating option reservations, sometimes you may forget to set an expiration date or the expiration date may not be agreed upon until later. It is then nice if you can edit the existing reservation in option, so you can still set the expiration date from there or adjust it in consultation with the guest. One day before the expiration date, the guest is notified by email that the option will expire. After the expiration date expires, the optioned reservation will automatically expire and the accommodation availability will be released again for other guests to book.
