Discount functionality optimized and expanded to include stacking discounts Update Reservation software 17 July 2023

For years, our clients have been working with the discount functionality in Recranet Booking to offer all kinds of (last minute) discounts to guests. The discount functionality has recently been completely revised, optimized and expanded. This includes optimizations of the code in the 'back-end' of the software, but also optimization of existing discount conditions and discount rules that have been tightened up and correctly processed in the administration and settlements in the reservation system.

In addition to optimizations, we made some extensions to available discount conditions. For example, it is now possible to optionally stack different discounts. Also, you can now determine if and how a discount is calculated, when a discount is only valid for part of the reservation. Can the discount still be calculated for the entire period of the reservation or only relative to the set discount duration? In short, even more flexibility and possibilities to make guests enthusiastic and book at your campsite, park or rental organization. Check Settings > Packages & Discounts > Discounts to start using the new functionality.
