In addition to the night register, you could in fact use the arrival and departure list as an (extended) night register. Each municipality has its own guidelines for this and the arrival and departure list is easier to compile yourself, while the night register is more static. From now on, the type of identity document is also shown on the arrival and departure list; this field has also recently been added to the night register, as this registration is mandatory in many municipalities.
