When cancelling a booking, you may sometimes want to ensure that cancellation insurance does not remain active. That’s why this update to our booking system gives you even more control over how insurance policies are handled.

Are you cancelling a booking with active cancellation insurance? An extra option will now automatically appear, allowing you to have the insurance lapse directly with the insurer. This is extremely handy when a guest is allowed to cancel free of charge due to illness, if an option has expired, or when you, as a campsite, holiday park or rental organisation, decide to be flexible. This prevents unnecessary insurance claims from being submitted and ensures everything remains neatly synchronised between the booking system and Recreatieverzekeringen. This results in less manual work, greater clarity and a clearer overview for both your team and your guests. This addition also makes a real difference in day-to-day operations. Staff no longer need to check insurance policies retrospectively.
