New French VAT rates now available in our booking system Update Reservation software 9 January 2026

Are you a business owner in France and want to set up your VAT correctly? With this update, our booking system now also supports the French VAT rates of 5.5% and 2.1%.

These rates are used in France for basic products, such as food, and certain services. The 5.5% rate, for example, is suitable for products sold via the till, such as sandwiches or other everyday items.

Within our booking system, you can easily activate these VAT rates in the relevant settings, such as surcharges or till items. This ensures your VAT settings always comply with local legislation and helps you avoid errors in your bookings and accounts.
