Job Vacancy Medior/Senior SEO Specialist

As a Medior/Senior SEO Specialist, you are responsible for the organic growth of our clients. You ensure that websites are technically strong, content aligns with search intent, and clients become more visible when guests search for their next vacation or stay.

Within Recranet, you work on websites linked to reservation systems, accommodations, packages, and booking funnels. Therefore, SEO with us goes beyond just content and rankings: technology, structure, performance, and conversion play an important role.

SEO is also rapidly changing due to AI and generative search results. You understand how AI Search, conversational search, and changing search behavior impact SEO. You use AI smartly for analyses, content research, and scalable optimization processes, without compromising on quality, strategy, and content.

Your role and impact

You help clients grow by cleverly combining technical SEO, content strategy, and data. You spot opportunities before others see them and translate insights into concrete optimizations that contribute to visibility, traffic, and bookings.

You look at the entire customer journey: from inspiring orientation searches to concrete booking intent. You see opportunities in destinations, regions, accommodation types, themes, facilities, packages, seasons, and target groups. Think of search behavior around "camping by the sea," "holiday park with dog," "last minute Veluwe," "glamping with children," or "hotel package weekend getaway."

Additionally, you play an important role within the team:

• You coach junior or medior marketers on SEO;
• You actively share knowledge about technical SEO, content, AI Search, and organic growth;
• You work with developers, designers, and marketers to structurally improve websites;
• You professionalize our SEO approach, audits, dashboards, and methodology.

What you could specifically do

You translate SEO opportunities into concrete optimizations that contribute to visibility, traffic, conversion, and bookings. You combine technical depth with a commercial focus.

For example, you are involved in:

• Conducting technical SEO audits for websites of holiday parks, campsites, rental organizations, and hotels;
• Analyzing and improving indexing, crawlability, canonicals, redirects, sitemap structure, and robots.txt;
• Optimizing website structures, category pages, accommodation pages, destination pages, and package pages;
• Developing content strategies based on search intent, season, region, target group, and booking phase;
• Creating keyword strategies for short-tail, long-tail, local, regional, and international search traffic;
• Improving titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking, and content quality;
• Advising on structured data for accommodations, reviews, FAQs, breadcrumbs, organizations, and local SEO;
• Monitoring and improving Core Web Vitals, load speed, and technical performance;
• Guiding website migrations, redesigns, and new client websites from an SEO perspective;
• Analyzing performance in Google Search Console, GA4, Semrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog;
• Translating SEO data into concrete actions for clients, developers, and content colleagues;
• Identifying opportunities around AI Search, generative search results, and changing search behavior;
• Collaborating with SEA and Social Ads specialists to leverage insights from paid campaigns for organic growth;
• Creating clear SEO reports and dashboards in Looker Studio.

What we hope you bring

• HBO/WO work and thinking level;
• At least 4 years of experience with SEO;
• Strong knowledge of technical SEO and content optimization;
• Experience with SEO tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog;
• Current knowledge of AI Search, generative search results, and modern SEO;
• Experience with AI tools for content, analyses, and optimization;
• Strong analytical skills and good at translating data into action;
• You work independently, structured, and result-oriented;
